In today's world these realms are connected a human can travel freely between these realms however this is uncommon. As for angels and demons they cannot pass as freely as humans but they can travel to earth to start a new life this has become unpopular after an event called simply The Awakening.The Awakening Prologue by ~millitantmissionary
The Awakening happened after a fierce battle between angels and demons which resulted in humans gaining the use of magic. A few unlucky ones died from gaining magic but most could control their magic and used it to stop the battle of the angels and demons
